At Bellaken Garden and Skilled Nursing Center, both the Skilled Nursing and the Assisted Living facilities have a basic level of services available to all residents. Such amenities include:

Bellaken Garden and Skilled Nursing Center is committed to resident satisfaction. Our Social Services department works closely with residents, families, and other staff to address issues or concerns, to implement services, and above all, to improve the resident's quality of life here at Bellaken Garden and Skilled Nursing Center.

Other services include discharge planning, transportation arrangements and working with the clinical departments to determine if the resident requires to see specialists including (but not limited to):

The Social Service department at Bellaken Garden and Skilled Nursing Center assures all questions and concerns of the resident and the family are resolved immediately and also ensures that all needs of the resident are met so that the highest quality of life is maintained.
  Dietary Department
Basics: Three nutritionally balanced meals a day and readily available snacks provided in-between meals. Dining at Bellaken Garden and Skilled Nursing Center takes place in the two large dining rooms that collectively serve the needs of all residents - social/independent and total care residents as needed.

Added Benefits: Meals and nourishment are an important part of every resident's life and culture here at Bellaken Garden and Skilled Nursing Center. Because we have such a diverse population at Bellaken Garden and Skilled Nursing Center, we offer three different menu choices of American/Western, Asian Cuisine, and a third alternative if neither suits their taste. Meals may also be adjusted to personal preferences such as those requesting vegetarian (vegan or ovo lacto) meals. Upon admission, the Dietary Supervisor will interview the new resident to determine the dietary preferences and needs of the resident and/or family.

The Dietary department at Bellaken Garden and Skilled Nursing Center ensures that all meals are appetizing and nutritious and that all dietary needs of the resident are accommodated for. The Dietary department also works closely with the clinical departments to monitor weight gain or loss and the resident's ability to tolerate food and liquid texture, thereby ensuring safety and resident quality of life.
